Mobile App
Stake UK does not have a dedicated app on the Google Play Store or Apple App Store. Instead, the platform is fully optimised for mobile browsers, functioning as a progressive web app (PWA). To access it, open your mobile browser (Chrome, Safari, Samsung Internet), go to the Stake UK website, and tap the ‘Share’ icon (iOS) or the three-dot menu (Android) and select ‘Add to Home Screen’. This creates a shortcut that launches the site like a native app, with push notifications for promotions and fast loading times. The mobile interface mirrors the desktop version, allowing you to place stake bets, check live odds, and enjoy stake online casino games without any lag.
Bonus & Promotions
New players can claim a welcome bonus on their first deposit. The exact offer changes periodically, but typically it’s a 100% match bonus up to a certain amount plus free spins. Let’s walk through a realistic example.
Example bonus calculation: Suppose the welcome bonus is a 100% match up to £500, with a 35x wagering requirement on the bonus amount. You deposit £100. The bonus is £100 (100% of £100, capped at £500). Your total balance becomes £200 (deposit + bonus). However, you must wager the bonus amount 35 times before you can withdraw any winnings from it. The wagering requirement is: 35 × £100 = £3,500. You need to place bets totalling £3,500 (on eligible games) before the bonus funds become withdrawable. If the bonus is sticky (i.e., not withdrawable until wagered), you’ll play with the bonus funds first, but any winnings from bonus bets are added to the wagering progress. Note that different games contribute differently: slots usually contribute 100%, while table games like blackjack contribute only 10% or 0%. Always check the terms.
For ongoing promotions, regular players can enjoy reload bonuses, cashback offers, and free spins on selected slots. The loyalty program rewards frequent players with points that can be exchanged for bonus credits or prizes. Keep an eye on the ‘Promotions’ page for limited-time offers.
Important: If the casino operates under a Curacao license, as many offshore casinos do, winnings may be subject to local income tax in your country of residence. Stake UK is licensed by the Curacao Gaming Authority, so you should consult a tax advisor to understand your obligations. This is a common user tip for EU and Nordic players.
Worth Knowing
To maximise your return, focus on games with the highest RTP (Return to Player). Slots with RTP above 96% (e.g., Book of Dead, Starburst) are a good choice. Among table games, European roulette (single zero) has an RTP of 97.3%, while blackjack with basic strategy can reach 99.5%. Avoid games with low RTP, such as keno (typically 85-90%) or some American roulette variants (94.7%). Also, video poker variants like Jacks or Better often have RTPs above 99% when played optimally. Always check the game’s info screen for exact RTP percentages.
